My name is Kats Scott. I’m a mother of three, living in Suffolk. After a career in advertising in London, I quickly realised that conventional office life wasn’t for me. In 2006, I took the leap into entrepreneurship and launched MEMENTO, a bespoke sourcing service for both corporate and private clients.

When we moved to the countryside and family life became busier, I paused my business to focus on motherhood. But the urge to do something fulfilling never left me. That’s when I co-founded CocoBelle with my close friend and sister-in-law—a cultural events venture celebrating art, local food, beautiful venues, and inspiring guest speakers. Like many small projects, CocoBelle was paused during the pandemic, which gave me the space to explore another creative outlet: interior design. Since then, I’ve taken on various projects for extended family and occasional clients.

As you can probably tell, I don’t shy away from new ideas (or risks). I’d rather try and fail than do nothing at all. That spirit is what led me to create HERD—a space where small businesses can grow, connect, and be supported by a like-minded community. HERD is about more than just business; it’s about learning from other professionals, sharing good food, great company, and conversations that leave you feeling inspired.
